One of the better elemental mage books, still not as good as I remember Fire Rose being. I loved the ending, I really love the line about letting the knight in shining armour think he's needed to rescue the princess even if she knows she can take care of herself.

Also loved the common sense approach to firearms - if you aren't prepared to go through with killing someone, don't use them for self-defense because you'll just have it taken away and used on you.
