I received this as a gift from someone who is helping me with salary comparisons and my job search. I read it instead of sleeping on the flight to Paris/Finland. It was eye-opening. I realized that I spend a lot of time treating people like objects instead of being empathetic. I also tend to believe the wrong sob stories and need to spend more time considering people's feelings and their point of view. This is a weakness both at work and in my personal life.
