Jasper Fforde's alternate universe includes a never ending Crimean war, a performance where Richard III sounds much like The Rocky Horror Picture Show, and SpecOps has a division for literary fraud, vampire eradication and the ChronoSquad (time anomalies).

Imagine being trapped in a novel or poem - how would this change the work of literature.
